Patients with UC may experience recurring symptoms, like diarrhoea, rectal bleeding and bowel urgency, and these symptoms can be conflated¹‚². However, bowel urgency is a distinct and highly disruptive symptom of UC and earlier resolution of bowel urgency has been associated with shorter time to symptomatic response and remission* as well as improved QoL measures¹‚².
Indication
Omvoh (mirikizumab) is indicated for the treatment of adult patients with moderately to severely active ulcerative colitis who have had an inadequate response with, lost response to, or were intolerant to either conventional therapy or a biologic treatment.
