UEG honours lifelong dedication to gastroenterology as a whole and UEG as particular

Christoph Beglinger, Giovanni Gasbarrini, and Jean-Paul Galmiche lead the list of awardees: UEG Member Societies are invited to nominate their candidates for this year's UEG Lifetime Achievement Award until April 30.

Training Support 2016: Apply for funding until April 20

UEG support Member Societies educational programmes or long-term projects starting in 2016 with up to €100,000. Additional benefit: Recordings of these activities can be accessed anytime in the Library on UEG Education. Have a look at the latest recordings from the EFISDS/EDS Postgraduate Course-Challenges in GI Surgery, which was funded by UEG.

UEG Research Prize: €100,000 for excellence in gastroenterology research

"This prize enables one to pursue high risk projects that are not possible with some of the more traditional funding routes. This is aside from the thrill of stepping onto the platform at the plenary session to speak about one's work to a huge audience - a real privilege." says Awardee 2014 Rebecca Fitzgerald. Applications for the Research Prize 2015 are accepted until May 18.
