UEG is calling on all EU countries to evaluate advanced CRC screening techniques to help increase survival rates
The Colorectal Cancer Awareness month kicks off UEG's latest campaign "Screenings Saves Lives CRC 2015". Colorectal cancer accounts for about half of all gastrointestinal malignancies in Europe and the annual incidence is predicted to rise by 12% by 2020. UEG awards your hard work: Open calls for Research Prize and Lifetime Achievement Award
The UEG Research Prize awards €100.000 for excellence in gastroenterology research and enables the researcher to support future research activities. Follow in the footsteps of Rebecca Fitzgerald and aplly until May 18. Additionally UEG recognises outstanding individuals who have made fundamental contributions to gastroenterology as a whole and UEG in particular with the Lifetime Achievement Award. Nomination closes on April 30.
